The Amazing Easter Hound Egg Challenge

You don't have to have a hound dog specifically to have fun at the Easter Hound Egg Challenge, but you will definitely want to brush up on your dog's basic obedience (whatever the breed). Once you register, make your way around to the different challenge stations, complete a challenge (you can pick what fits your dog's abilities), and collect an Easter egg. Once you have ten eggs, return to the prize tent. First 50 dog/human teams to return to the prize tent will win a prize bag. Afterwards, if your dog enjoys romping with others, take some time to reward your dog with a play in the dog park. Rain date is March 29 same time. The Fluvanna Dog Spot
Does you dog jump on you every time you come home? Does he surf the counter looking for leftover--or worse your dinner? Do you find piddles in the middle of the room? Or perhaps your dog takes YOU for walks. Then it's time to sign up for a basic beginning class with Ashleigh Morris at the dog spot. Through positive methods you will learn how to communicate basic skills to your dog that will help you both enjoy a long life together.
Classes are held at FCPR's Dog Spot in the Fork Union Community Center--5725 James Madison Hwy. Class are taught by Ashleigh Morris who trained for three years with local trainer Cheryl Falkenburry. Cheryl teaches special classes the first Saturday of every month until May 2008. Click above for more information on the classes available.
